a feeling of deep anxiety, typically an unfocused one about the human condition or the state of the world in general.
For example, “existential angst”, generally a negative feeling arising from the experience of human freedom and responsibility
• informal – a feeling of persistent worry about something trivial. For example, “my hair causes me angst.”
