# 3. Sharp – (of an object) Having a thin cutting edge , able to cut something. You need a sharp knife to cut bread! What other things can you cut? Bread? Bacon? (of a person) to be sharp means to be clever, intelligent. and to “look sharp” means to be well-dressed, good looking.
