The quest is to get to Edinburgh, and to produce a quality performance. The quest-ION is how do we get there? I believe that Wild Mint Productions is not competing with other companies in Prague – but rather, it is competing on the world stage. This company is an international company for Czechs and expats. Our aims are high, and some may say too ambitious. But my belief is that you have to think big to become big. I have complete belief in this company, in Deja Vu, and in myself. I feel that what we have at Wild Mint Productions is something special, and the interest in the project so far has been astounding to say the least. Actors, writers, producers alike are all enthusiastic about the future. But at the same time, I know that it’s not enough just to have faith in this project. Who am I to say that Deja Vu will be such a great performance – why should you believe me? Inevitably this company and indeed myself will be tested, and I welcome every test that comes our way.
Our first major test will be performing to the Czech and Australian ambassadors in February next year. CANZA are a great support for the project and I am impressed with their enthusiasm to help us. We will organise a short piece to be performed to the ambassadors next year at a CANZA event and I can’t wait. Right now though, the main thing I have to focus on is writing tbe script!
